Fishing Tutorial  

WARNING: Only civilians & medics can do fishing, all others Law Enforcement's can not!

What is Fishing made for?: It's made for people fishing, and selling their fishes for a good amount of money, very easy, and best method.

How do I start fishing?: Press "2" in your keyboard to start fishing or type /fish when you driving a boat.

What you need for fishing is: You will need 5 things to do.

  • Any Boat - To start fishing.
  • Fish Baits - Ability to catch fishes.
  • Fishing Cooler - Increases slot of how many fishes you can carry.
  • Fishing Rod - Decreases fishing cooldown.
  • Fishing Permits (Optional) - Does not give wanted level for "fishing without permit" crime, 1 per fish (not counted when bitten by piranha).



Boats can be found all across San Andreas, especially when you spawn at Las Venturas, you can easily find it at Red County.



Where do I find those items for Fishing?: They're usually can be found at 24/7 shops and at Fishing Shop. Use /gps for locating them, or just find it on the map.

How do I check my Fish Inventory?: Check /fishinv or /fishrel (to release fishes).


How do i sell all my fishes?: You can sell all your Fishes at Fishing Shop (/gps) by using "Sell All Fishes" option in the menu, If you want to sell a particular fish then you can use "Sell Fish" option.
NOTE: Fishes are saved in your inventory even if you quit the game.

How much money can I make from fishing?: Fishes prices depends server's VAT percent & on how many good fishes you have.

Here's the list of things found while fishing:

Eel:

  • Caught in sea while doing fishing (cost fishing permit & baits).

Codlet:

  • Caught in sea while doing fishing (cost fishing permit & baits).

Oarfish:

  • Caught in sea while doing fishing (cost fishing permit & baits).

Lobster:

  • Caught in sea while doing fishing (cost fishing permit & baits).

Stingray:

  • Caught in sea while doing fishing (cost fishing permit & baits).

Sailfish:

  • Caught in sea while doing fishing (cost fishing permit & baits).

Shark:

  • Caught in sea while doing fishing (cost fishing permit & baits).

Piranha:

  • Found in sea in sea while doing fishing (cost fishing permit & baits).
  • You may lose certain health from piranha bite.

Drug Suitcase

  • Found in sea (has random amount of drugs, does not cost fishing permit--only baits).

Cash Suitcase

  • Found in sea (has random amount of cash, does not cost fishing permit--only baits).

Dead Bodies

  • Found in sea (rewards nothing, does not cost fishing permit--only baits).

Sea Ghost:

  • You may lose your fish from sea ghost attack (does not cost fishing permit--only baits).
  • You may die from sea ghost attack (does not cost fishing permit--only baits, life insurance cover's medical fees).
  • You have random chances of getting attacked by sea ghost, given $5000 for killing it (does not cost fishing permit--only baits).
